Single Tickets

Full $20.50 / Concession $17.50 / Member $16.50 (plus booking fees)

Booking fees range from $2.50 to $5 depending on total booking amount. All special events pricing is displayed on the session page.

Passes

All-In Pass – $349 Member

3 Film Pass – $57 Full / $49 Concession / $46 Member
5 Film Pass – $92 Full / $79 Concession / $74 Member
7 Film Pass – $127 Full / $108 Conc / $102 Member

How to Buy Tickets

Online
Select, book and print your tickets at home. Browse the program on the website, click on a film, and scroll to the payment options at the bottom of the page. Select your tickets, click ‘Add to Cart’, and follow the instructions to ‘Checkout’.

Download the app
Browse and purchase tickets on the official MQFF iPhone or Android app. No printing required – bring your smartphone to be scanned at the door.

At the Box Office
ACMI Tickets and Information Desk during the festival from 10am to late.
Kino Cinemas and Cinema Nova MQFF pop up box office opens 1 hour prior to MQFF session start times.

 

FAQS

Standby Queues
MQFF operates standby queues for all sold out sessions. Standby queues will commence 30 minutes before the session start time. Admission is not guaranteed. Visit the MQFF information desk at the venue on the day from 30 minutes before a Standby session.

3, 5, 7 Passes
Valid for the passholder only for 1 standard session per screening time until pass allocation is exhausted (excludes special events).

All-In Pass
The All-In Pass is valid for all standard sessions, plus special events and screenings including Opening and Closing Nights with priority entry into  the cinemas. Customers must be Members to be able to purchase the All-In Pass.

MQFF Membership

How to Exchange
Exchanges can be made up to 2 hours before session commences and incur fees ($1.50 online or $3 at box office per ticket). To exchange online, simply login to your account.

Single Tickets – In the ‘Bookings’ tab of your account page, click the blue hyperlinked ‘Exchange tickets’ button underneath the date of the relevant booking. A pop up window will appear, and you can select the relevant session and click ‘Exchange sessions’, then follow the instructions to exchange and Checkout.

Pass Bookings – Go to the ‘Passes’ tab of your account page, click the blue hyperlinked ‘View / Exchange Sessions’ button to the right of the relevant pass. A pop up window will appear, and you can select the relevant session and click ‘Exchange sessions’, and follow the instructions to exchange and Checkout.

 

Accessibility

Companion Card and Wheelchair Bookings
MQFF supports and accepts the Companion Card. All MQFF venues are wheelchair accessible and have accessible toilets. All MQFF cinemas have assistive listening via an audio loop through the t-switch on a hearing aid, or audio headset.

Companion Card tickets and wheelchair spaces cannot be booked online. To book tickets using your Companion Card, to book a wheelchair space, or to advise us of your access needs please contact the office.

Admission conditions

Classification
The Classification Board grants MQFF special customs and censorship clearances that mean all audience members must be 18 years or over except where indicated.

Concession tickets  
Full-time students, pensioners, unwaged, seniors, MIFF, ACMI and Palace Cinema members are entitled to concession prices with a valid concession or membership card.

Refunds policy
All purchases are non-refundable, except in the case of a cancelled session.
