MQFF Capacity Building Manager
MQFF has shown diverse stories on the big screen for over 30 years. From humble beginnings, it has grown to become Australia’s largest LGBTIQ+ film festival and celebration of the moving image.
From initially a single festival exhibition, MQFF now screens a Main Festival, a mini festival, regional roadshows, signature screenings, online offerings, and a range of other opportunities for engagement.
Whilst the first 30 years have been a tremendous success, we are now looking to the future, to the next 30 years.
In order to secure our future, and underpin our sustained success, we are looking to engage a person or persons to help build on the achievements to date by spearheading the organisation’s capacity building.
Do you love film? Passionate about the community?
MQFF is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals or groups to help us on our journey. We are happy to be creative with this role, so we are as happy to hear from both individuals or a small group of individuals who may want to collaborate on bringing in the skills that we will need to achieve the goal of this important role.
If you are interested, submit:
- • A cover letter outlining why you are great for the role, along with suggestions or a plan on how you would approach building MQFF’s capacity; and a
- • Résumé, with a comprehensive background of your experiences, skills, and qualifications.
E-mail to email@example.com.
If you have any questions / queries, or would like to discuss this opportunity, do not email in the first instance and instead call Maxwell Gratton, MQFF CEO, on 0409 197 680.
If you know of anyone within your networks who may be suitable for this opportunity, please forward to them.
MQFF looks forward to educating, entertaining and celebrating diversity for the next 30 years. Join us on the journey.
