MQFF presents Mamma Mia
Dancing queens, we’re heading back to the Coburg Drive-In for Midsumma Festival, screening fan favourite Mamma Mia! There’s no better way to enjoy Midsumma Festival than with a night of film, fun and flair!
Caftans, a summer wedding, the beautiful Greek Islands and one of the most iconic pop bands ever make up for a heady mix of unbridled fun in Mamma Mia!, the Abba jukebox musical. Meryl Streep stars as Donna (who belts out a killer rendition of The Winner takes it all by the way) the carefree mother of the bride whose Greek island wedding for her daughter is complicated by the arrival of three ex-lovers all claiming to be the father of the bride. Featuring Julie Walters, Christine Baranski and Colin Firth and all the classic Abba hits you can sing along to, Mamma Mia! is pure joy from start to finish.
