10:00am–12:00pm — Emerging Filmmakers Pitch & Networking
We invite emerging filmmakers to present a 30-second introduction and film pitch.
This is your chance to share your practice and projects with the Jimpa creative team and special guests. This informal session is a great opportunity to connect with other queer filmmakers.
This session is suitable for all emerging filmmakers.
1:00pm–2:00pm — Director’s Masterclass with Sophie Hyde
Learn from one of Australia’s most influential directors in this exclusive masterclass.
This sessions is for directors and anyone who would like to become a director.
2:30pm–3:30pm — Jimpa Panel
Sophie Hyde and Aud Mason-Hyde join key community members from Naarm to reflect on Jimpa. Panel members will be sharing what inspired the film’s queer spirit. This panel is a heartfelt celebration of the stories that matter and now to be missed.
This session is open to all community.
